Laundry Worker

This is why **Riverstone**Care Home** is searching for a **Laundry Worker** to join the team and make a real difference to the lives of our residents. This is a **permanent, part-time **posit**ion (minimum 15**hours per week, 5 hours per day, working **Friday to **Sunday - from 8.30am - 3.00pm( hours are flexible)**

**Where You Will Make an Impact**
- Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
- Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
- Meeting of daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
- Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
- Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

**What** About You**
- Previous experience working in a commercial laundry is preferred, however not essential as we will provide training.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents’ lives.
- You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
- Have reliable transport or travel arrangements.
