About This Role
Based at our office in Dandenong South, we are searching for an experienced Purchasing and Inventory Officer to join our Supply Chain team, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager ANZ. This role is reponsible for managing stock planning activities, ensuring availability of the right inventory and the right time and ensuring customer orders are delivered as per agreed service levels. As the Purchasing and Inventory Officer, you will assist the ANZ Supply Chain Manager playing a key role in day to day warehouse operations and providing day to day support and resolving issues of stock availability with sales and other internal functions.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
Placing of orders to Vendors through ERP and manually.
Responsible for planning and execution of import scheduling processes to ensure OTD is met.
Focuses on schedule development and provides follow up on the execution of purchase orders placed to local vendors.
Monitors stock availability, orders and performs various tasks necessary to schedule.
Responsible for providing product availability information to business.
Generating planning sheet and demand for placing purchase orders.
Master data creation in oracle
Manage Purchase order changes in oracle
Manage SLIM4 forecasting tool, and recommend improvements
E2E responsibility of local bought out items
Developing standard work processes.
Coordinating with sales for forecast and its accuracy at the same time fulfilling of current orders in hand.
Report generation and tracking
Inventory Accuracy for ANZ across all sites
Continuous Improvement projects aligned to the voice of the business and customers

**Success Profile**:
Relevant degree qualification and minimum 3 years relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Oracle and MS Office, updating databases and Excel
Experience in supply planning and 3PL vendor management
Advanced communication and influencing skills with proven track record of building trust and delivering results through others
Champions expectional customer service and drives excellence in their role
Well developed adminsitrative skills, including high level of attention to detail, accuracy and time management
You demonstrate initiative, take a proactive approach and a let’s get it done attitude
