Ronnie Bakery and Caf is looking for a full-time permanent position with a guaranteed 30 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours to work in Morrinsville, Waikato rosters between the hours of 3 am to 4pm, Monday to Sunday. You will be required to work during weekends or public holidays to meet the needs of the business operation hours.
Key responsibilities
- cleaning kitchens, food preparation areas and sculleries
- cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and caf
- Assisting owner to makesandwiches and cooking fast food
- Cooking for all customers orders and deliver foods to customers when busy
- transferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipment
- assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads, savouries and sandwiches
- packing food and beverage trays for serving
- cooking, toasting and heating simple food items
**Qualification/Work experience**:
- a New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality (Cookery, Level 2/3) or equivalent qualifications that are relevant to perform the job is preferable but not essential
- No work experience is required however we would like someone with a passion to work inside the kitchen
**Skills and other specifications**:
- Reliable
- Able to work well under pressure
- Willing to learn new things
- Time management skills
- Able to follow instructions
- Good at communicating
- Personally fit as it may involve lifting heavy ingredients and being able to stand for a long period of time
The pay would be $25 /per hour to $30/ per hour depending on your skill level and work experience.
