**About the Role**
Due to a strong pipeline of work, Cook Brothers Construction is growing, and we are looking for H&S Coordinators to join our team in each of our Otago region.
Our H&S team love visiting our project sites and getting to know our construction teams, so you will prefer a hands-on approach to H&S and will understand how important it is to build long lasting relationships with your teammates.
**Duties**:
- Facilitating H&S meetings
- Performing H&S site audits
- Preparing monthly or yearly H&S reports for the management team
- Supporting with inhouse H&S training, and booking relevant external trainings
- Supporting the ongoing Covid pandemic response plan
- Continuously promoting a positive H&S culture
This is a role that will fit a passionate H&S ambassador that wants to be part of influencing our already awesome H&S culture. In return, we can offer a wide scoping role with a huge amount of training and development opportunities.
**Experience and Skills required**:
- 1 -2 years in a similar, or related role
- Current knowledge of health & safety legislation
- A passion for health & safety and an inclusive and supportive approach to promoting the culture within the team
- Experience working on construction sites would be very beneficial
- Must be able to accommodate national travel
