Enrolled Nurse

We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse interested in working full time (40 hrs per week/1.0 FTE) at our Whānau Health Centre in Thames, with flexibility to work across our clinic sites in Paeroa and Te Aroha.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) works under the **direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse (RN) **to provide primary care nursing support, patient interventions and treatment within Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki. As part of the Ohu Hauora team, the EN works within their scope of practice and is responsible for providing whānau-centred, culturally appropriate, and individual holistic care to patients.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- A current APC and experience in primary health care/ general practice or well child services
- Experience in using MedTech Evolution is desirable.
- To be a cervical smear taker and an authorised vaccinator (or ready to undertake training)
- The ability to build relationships and communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) putting our patients and their whānau at ease
- To be highly organised and be able to manage your time and workload effectively - particularly when it gets busy To be flexible, energetic, pro-active with a positive 'can do' attitude - ready to pitch in and help out when needed.
