Enliven Disability Services work alongside young people under 65 living with a disability. We aim to empower and support our clients to live an extraordinary life as valued members of the community. You will be part of a team working to make a difference in your local community.
**Our Community Navigators support the people we serve to develop and outwork an aspirational vision for their life and support their journey through vision development, facilitation and community navigation.**
**In this role**:
You will manage a small team of community mentors and assist to steer and navigate individual journeys of tangata whaikaha supporting clients to work towards and achieve a good life through the development of networks, increased community participation and engagement in activities that support their goals and aspirations.
Provide invaluable support to our clients to engage in activities in their local community and support people and their whanau to develop and aspirational vision for their future and explore their community and have experience that help them determine what their good life should look like. Develop a weekly plan that supports their good life and journey towards an vision for their future.
To be successful you will have a passion for supporting people with disabilities, a desire to see people reach their potential, and an ability to see each person as an individual, with unique needs and abilities.
You will also hold a Level 3-4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (or equivalent).
**_ Y_**ou will need to have good interpersonal and communication skills, with great attention to detail, and be open-minded, patient and empathetic.**
- 30-40 hours per week.
- $30 - $33 per hour (based on experience)
