**About the Role**

**Position: Debarker Operator**

**Location**:Tauranga Port

**Status**: Full-time position with a 4 on, 4 off rotating roster. You will work four days on day shift (2 AM - 2 PM), followed by four days off, then four days on night shift (2 PM - 2 AM) before repeating the cycle.

**Your job duties would be**:

- Operating the debarker and relevant equipment, excluding loaders, wherever applicable.
- Ensuring quality control of the debarker's output.
- Actively participating in the continuous improvement process, encompassing aspects like health and safety, plant procedures, training, and environmental concerns.
- Managing the workflow for log intake and the storage of processed logs.

**You will also need to**:

- Clean driver’s license
- Mechanical background preferred
- Machine operating experience is a bonus
- Full training will be provided, previous experience is not essential
- Have eligibility to work in NZ.
