Operator Labourer

**The role**:
As part of our Selwyn Roading Maintenance Contract team, enjoy working in a unique and beautiful part of Canterbury with snow-capped mountains on one side and white capped oceans on the other. Our team are committed to not only making you part of our HEB whanau, but helping you fulfill your career goals with exciting courses and skills training.

The main responsibilities are**:

- Routine roading maintenance
- Roading repairs and renewals - these works include drainage works, kerb & channel prep, footpath maintenance and renewals, boundary to boundary carriageway maintenance, as well as emergency repairs
- After hours call outs to clean up on incidents

This is a permanent full-time position. The work is Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday work will be required from time to time.

**About you**:

- Class 2 licence minimum
- Experienced operating plant
- WTR endorsements preferred (we can help you with this)
- Traffic Controllers Qualifications preferred
- You are honest, reliable and take pride in the work you do
- Reasonable level of fitness
