We have established a new home in Whanganui supporting three flatmates to live happy meaningful lives.

We are looking for an empathetic and passionate support worker.

You will be part of a small team who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to those who live and work in the home. The team will be providing a safe home environment where three flatmates can learn new skills, independence and build friendships with peers. You will be 'their person' to support them to interact with others in their community doing the activities they enjoy.

**Roles and Hours**:
**We are looking for a experienced Support Workers for a Sleepover full-time position including working every second weekend.**

**This is a 105 hour per fortnight role.**

**Week 1: Wednesday 6pm - 9am and Thursday 6pm - 9am.**
**Week 2: Monday 6pm - 9am, Tuesday 6pm - 9am, Friday 6pm - 9am, Saturday 6pm - 9am and Sunday 6pm - 9am.**

**To be the right fit for this team you bring**:

- A passion for people, be patient, friendly and kind
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker
- The ability to understand and connect with people who have communication challenges
- Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
- Energy, enthusiasm and enjoy being part of a team
- The ability to undertake personal cares when required
- Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
- A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH
