We encourage Passion to Grow and improve
- Hamilton (Perm, full time role)
- Opportunity to make a difference in a varied role where no two days are the same
- Inspire our future generation of leaders
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) represents more than 130,000 financial professionals, supporting them to make a difference to the businesses, organisations, and communities in which they work and live. Chartered Accountants are known as Difference Makers. The depth and breadth of their expertise helps them to see the big picture and chart the best course of action.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about our next generation of leaders and difference makers, and the opportunity to help shape their future? As a Careers Engagement Manager, you will connect, inspire, and develop students and graduates to help them realise the value of being an Accounting Technician (AT) or Chartered Accountant (CA) member.
This is a great opportunity to drive the strategy, execution, and relationship management across the region.
Your ability to nurture and build effective relationships and engagement with key stakeholders including employers, graduates, educators, students and other key stakeholders across the Central North Island region will be pivotal
A large part of this role also involves championing the national Accounting Technician provisional member priorities, while being involved in project work to refresh the AT programme and pathways. This will involve oversight of pipeline activities across NZ, and the delivery of internal training to ensure consistent communication about the AT designation and pathways across our employer, tertiary and member networks.
This is a relationship and people-focused role where you will be the ‘face’ of CA ANZ, interacting, advocating and promoting, whether it be graduate recruitment, attending and presenting at campuses, or to potential recruiters or companies. You will collaborate with and provide support to our Careers Marketing Team on execution of tactical campaigns and lead, coach and motivate student representatives across our region. Excitingly, you will also be representing CA ANZ at university career fairs, student society events and relevant industry seminars - so bring your highly developed and engaging talking abilities
ABOUT YOU
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for balancing operational delivery with big picture thinking? Do you enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, creating, and maintaining long term relationships? Are you agile and enjoy working in a dynamic and flexible environment? If it’s a YES, we want to hear from you.
**What else you will bring**:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills (communication, influencing, stakeholder management) with the ability to engage with and develop strong relationships with a diverse audience
- Knowledge of the education system or accounting profession would be highly advantageous, though not essential
- Experience in Account Management / Relationship Management or Campus Recruitment would be highly regarded
- Results driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with effective time management and prioritisation skills
