**About the role**:
As a UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in building a deep understanding of our users' needs and turning quantitative and qualitative user research into actionable insights to drive the future of our digital products. Part of a global team, you will report to the Design and Content Manager.

You will make an impact by:

- delving into the needs and behaviours of our users through user research to gather valuable insights that inform product strategy and design
- supporting the design team by providing actionable insights throughout the product development process
- partnering with cross-functional teams, such as Designers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Content Writers, and QA to create solutions that align with user needs
- simplifying complex design problems through simple and intuitive solutions, informed by user research data and goals
- communicating the optimal user experience through visual aids such as user flows, wireframes, and journey maps
- collecting and analysing data through a variety of research methods, including interviews, Guerilla testing, usability testing, surveys, and analytics
- developing user profiles and personas to better understand and serve our users
- championing design thinking and a user-centered approach throughout the organisation
- continuously improving UX processes to solve challenges in a scalable way
- managing recruitment and scheduling for user feedback sessions
- recommending and implementing new software and technology to optimise our UX approach
- always keeping the needs and wants of our customers and users at the forefront of our decision making.

This role can be remote, and we offer flexible work arrangements for employees based at our Auckland office.

**About you**:
You are deeply passionate about user experience and can build a user research practice from the ground up. You have strong communication skills, can convey the value of data-driven design, and can persuade stakeholders to prioritise user feedback.

You have:

- strong experience with various research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics
- problem-solving skills and ability to turn research insights into actionable recommendations
- strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- familiarity with user research tools and software
- experience with recruiting and managing user panels
- strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices in UX research
- ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- effective task management and ability to juggle and deliver multiple jobs at a time
- exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with tools, such as Figma, Maze, statistical tools would be a plus.

**Qualifications**

Ideally, you hold a tertiary qualification in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Marketing or a related field.
