An exciting opportunity exists to join the Commercial Division of Dicker Data as our AV Trainer/Demonstrator.

**What you will do in this role**:
- Conduct engaging and informative on-site demonstrations and presentations of ViewSonic Interactive Flat Panels to educators, administrators, and decision-makers at schools, corporate offices, resellers, government institutions, trade shows, and educational events.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling content and materials that effectively communicate the features, benefits, and use cases of our AV products for the education sector.
- Customise demonstrations and training sessions to meet the specific needs and requirements of different schools and educational institutions.
- Educate and train school staff on the effective integration of Interactive Flat Panels into their teaching methodologies, emphasizing the positive impact on student engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes.
- Address any technical questions or concerns from educators and provide prompt and accurate solutions or liaise with technical support teams as needed.
- Gather feedback from demonstrations and training sessions to continuously improve the effectiveness of presentations and identify areas for product enhancement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, including teachers, school administrators, IT coordinators, and district-level decision-makers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, educational technology advancements, and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience highly desirable).
- Prior experience as a teacher or educator, preferably with experience in integrating technology into the classroom.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and captivate audiences of varying sizes and demographics.
- Passion for educational technology, inclusive learning, positive educational outcomes, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by educators in today's classrooms.
- Familiarity with AV technology, Interactive Flat Panels, and other classroom technology solutions is a plus.
- Ability to adapt and tailor presentations to meet the needs and interests of diverse educational institutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with educators and decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel to schools and educational events within Auckland as required.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong commitment to achieving targets and objectives.
