**About the Role**
We are looking for someone to join the Village Leadership Team as a Resident Services Manager located at our beautiful Jane Winstone Retirement Village in Whangaui.
- In this awesome opportunity, you will:_
- ** Lead with kindness **and oversee the delivery of the village service functions including kitchen, housekeeping, gardening, maintenance, laundry and administration teams
- ** Provide leadership support** to Reception and Administration teams and general leadership at village in the absence of the Village Manager
- ** Have oversight** for all risk management and health and safety related processes for the village
- ** Actively promote** team members to be involved in health, safety and wellbeing
- ** Lead and model** the Ryman characteristics by motivating and inspiring your team to 'Do it safely or not at all'
- ** Work collaboratively** with the village leadership team to foster a culture of excellence, fun friendly supportive environment that is 'Good enough for Mum or Dad'
- ** Manage the roster** for Auxiliary teams ensuring adequate staffing levels and recruitment is maintained
- ** Educate team members** on mandatory training, inductions, policies and procedures to promote compliance
- ** Manage recruitment** and onboarding process collaboratively with the Village Manager to ensure an exceptional employee experience for new hires
- ** HAVE FUN**
- This is a full time position working Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am - 3:30pm. You will need to be flexible outside of these hours, as part of the role will require your ability to work on call._
