We are at the leading edge of insights. As we grow and globalise, we’re looking for an experienced designer and team leader to lead our internal design studio as they push forward our brands and deliver outstanding and creative design.

**About The Role**

Working across the TRA Group of brands the Head of Design is the champion for good design, ensuring our brands our well-developed, maintained, and showcase their individual personalities.

You will be responsible for managing the flow of work and capacity of the design studio, ensuring deadlines are met, and beautiful and engaging outputs are delivered, whilst providing creative direction and leadership to help develop and build the capability within the design team.

It’s a fun time to be joining as we have some great design projects on the horizon, from the development of brand identities, to leading the charge on our biannual magazine.

Please note this a 1-year fixed term contract for parental leave.
**Requirements**:
We’re looking for someone with:

- 5+ year’s multidisciplinary design experience in brand identity, layout, and digital design skills.
- Previous experience managing studio traffic, or leading and coaching designers.
- Grounding in the Mac platform and Adobe CC including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to translate design into the everyday and back again.
- Creative with an outstanding sense of design and an excellent eye for detail.
- A positive, engaged, committed attitude, a team player who is client-focused.
- Ability to think innovatively and creatively to find solutions, open to new ideas.
