Our client is a fast-growing national building services design consultancy. They have a proud reputation, working culture and focus on delivering for some of New Zealand's largest and most high-profile projects, and they are now looking for their latest addition to take them to the next level.

With a diverse project portfolio stemming from bespoke residential architecturally designed homes through to sporting stadia, high-rise buildings and major commercial development, this is a really dynamic and wide-ranging role where you could be exposed to the lot

**The role**

This is a role where you'll be tasked with driving the hydraulic plumbing design of critical projects, ensuring modelling and design meets the specifications of the many varied project requirements, whilst working closely with the draughting team and wider stakeholders to meet key project deadlines. Additional elements of the role include:

- Modelling of Hydraulic Services and Plumbing Design
- Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the draughting team
- Management of company design standards
- Development and organisation of drafting review process across all projects
- Clash detection reviews and reporting and management of clash rectification
- Engagement and communication with key external stakeholders including architects, consultants and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into key designs
- Identifying and communicating design intent to engineering teams

- Previous experience in Building Services or Civil Consultancy
- Strong NZ building code Knowledge
- Strong team attitude and willingness to be open to feedback and engaging with team members.
- 5+ years' building services industry experience.
- 3+ years' Experience in Revit
- Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CAD).
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
