We are looking for our next Regional Trainer for the beautiful Nelson region. This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week. Hours of work will be agreed with the successful applicant.

Access Community Health (Hauora-Tara-Ā-Whare) is a leading provider of home-based healthcare and support. Our nationwide teams of over 4,000 support workers and registered nurses support people to remain active, safe, and independent in their own homes and communities.

**He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role**

The Regional Trainer contributes to the delivery of our community-based support services by:

- Working independently to deliver training to Support Workers designed to help them achieve NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications
- Providing innovative solutions to training challenges - pushing the boundaries to develop the skills Support Workers need to meet current and future demands
- Working with the local and national teams to ensure best planning, systems and tools to manage the region's training needs
- Carry out classroom training sessions through Zoom and in-person via presentations
- Assisting in the development and facilitation of non-Support Worker staff training

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent problem solving, initiative and high energy levels
- Confident public speaker
- Self-driven and autonomous
- Able to work under time pressures - remaining calm and focused
- Able to prioritise and manage workflow
- Full driver's license and confident driver as travel around the region is a must.
- Adult education and/ or Nurses qualification preferred
