**Warehouse Team Member - Grocery Department**

Gilmours Tauranga is a leading and well-established Wholesale Food & Beverage distribution company dedicated to providing top-quality products and exceptional service to our valued customers.

Our people are valuable to us, and we are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Warehouse Team Member to join our dedicated Grocery team.

As Warehouse Team Member you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring that our customers have access to top-notch products and service. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday 09:30 to 18:00

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide friendly and efficient assistance to customers and team members.
- Handle the opening, operating, and closing of the checkout when needed, ensuring all cash and card transactions are accurate.
- Move pallets, stock shelves, and keep everything organized and safe for our customers.
- Make sure stock levels are accurate, and goods are rotated properly.
- Work together with the team to keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are upheld at all times
- Operate a forklift to shift products - not essential.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a similar role, food industry, or warehouse is advantageous, but not essential.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy products.
- A forklift license, WMS and SAP experience are advantageous, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to help others and think of customers in everything you do.
- Honesty, integrity, and reliability are essential.
- Be accountable and driven to better the performance each week.
