We are looking for Experienced Concrete Truck Driver to join our team, as a Concrete Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering ready-mix concrete to construction and residential sites, ensuring that the concrete is mixed properly, and maintaining a safe driving record. You will also assist in the loading and unloading of concrete and perform basic truck maintenance as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites.
- Ensure safe delivery of concrete to the correct location within the specified time.
- Communicate with dispatch to verify delivery schedules and requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and other required documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading the truck and ensure the concrete meets specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any issues with equipment or deliveries to the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (Class 4) with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience driving a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand delivery instructions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Must be physically able to load and unload materials, as well as perform basic truck maintenance.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 25k/g weight.
- Must be Physically Fit as job can be physically demanding sometimes.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to Driver Road Ranger Gearbox Preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Christchurch, Canterbury: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Truck Driver: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Fluent English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 4 Drivers Licence (required)
- Class 4 Truck Licence (required)
