Courier Driver

**Pyramid Services Limited**, a trusted logistics company, seeks a dedicated and reliable Courier Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing excellent service and ensuring timely, secure deliveries throughout the **Wellington region**who will be responsible for the following duties:
- Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.
- Prioritize the timely and safe delivery of packages to clients and businesses.
- Confirm and document orders before departure and upon arrival, ensuring accurate delivery of all items.
- Assist in the efficient loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage.
- Maintain organized records of deliveries, including signed receipts and delivery notes.
- Plan and adjust daily routes to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce travel time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues or delays promptly.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing client inquiries about their deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
**Other important requirements**:
- Available to start as early as 5:30 am.
- Must be able to work on weekends.
- Must have a valid driver's license (NZ or overseas)
- DG (Dangerous Goods) endorsement on an NZ Driving Licence is preferred.
- Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
