The way you mix quality service with professional and insightful help, along with your upbeat personality and excellent problem solving skills, will be what makes you a fantastic Customer Services Officer.

The first permanent part-time position offers **60 hours per fortnight**. Week 1 (36 hours) includes a Saturday and Sunday afternoon shifts 1pm - 7:30pm, Monday 1pm - 9:30pm, Thursday 1:00pm - 9:30pm & Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm. Week 2 (24 hours) includes Monday 1:00pm - 9:30pm, Thursday 1:00pm - 9:30pm and Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm

The second permanent part-time positions offers **6.5 hours per fortnight** on one Sunday morning shift.

The Timaru District Council aims to enable democratic local decision-making and action by, and on behalf of communities, to promote the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of its communities in the present and for the future. With around 400 staff, there are a diverse range of roles from front facing community to support and technical specialists.
