**Position Title**: Delivery Driver

**Position Summary**:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for driving safely and courteously, following road safety rules,

timely deliveries and the general upkeep of vehicles.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**:
1. Be devoted exclusively during the hours of employment to the discharge of the duties and functions of the position;
2. Drive safely and courteously;
3. Load planning; including loading and unloading vehicles and pick and deliver orders in a timely manner;
4. Obey the road rules, Road Code and local by-laws;
5. Report to the Employer any faults the Employee finds with any vehicle they are driving;
6. Do a check of the vehicle before driving it to ensure it is safe to drive;
7. Be medically fit to drive;
8. Maintain a standard of personal cleanliness and tidy appearance reasonably acceptable to the Employer;
9. Comply with the Employer’s health and safety plan;
10. Comply with Woolworth’s customer’s relevant policies and procedures;
11. Comply with Woolworth’s product safety programme for dairy products and produce;
12. Promptly notify the Employer of any accident, incidents involving the Employee which results in an infringement notice, regulating offense and/or penalty being issued by a New Zealand Government body against the Employer or the Employee resulting from the Employee’s activity;
13. Comply with Woolworth’s Drug and Alcohol policy

14. Ongoing training will be provided
