We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on system integrations. This role can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. If you have over 5 years of relevant experience and are looking for an exciting project role to get involved in and build up your already established experience, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position where you'll play a pivotal role in an exciting and challenging project to migrate numerous legacy system integrations to Azure as well as developing new integrations for upcoming business software projects. As the Lead Developer for this migration, you will leverage your expertise in Azure Integration Services to drive the project's success. Your role will involve working extensively with data, SQL databases, REST APIs, and data transformations, while also utilizing key Azure services such as Function Apps, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Service Bus and Storage Accounts.
**In this role you will**:
- Design and implement integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, etc.).
- Document integration designs, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness for development and stakeholder teams.
- Work with technology, digital and business stakeholders on requirements, testing and understanding of our business data and processes to create an integration ecosystem that is well documented, easy to maintain and reusable for future integrations.
- Gain valuable experience across a range of technologies and systems.

**Nā tōu rourou | What you'll bring**
- Relevant qualification - BSc in Computer Science, BEng in Software Engineering or similar
- 5+ years' experience developing, architecting and implementing solutions in complex software environments, including integration related projects
- Technical proficiency with a range of software tools such as REST APIs C#, JavaScript, SQL, Python,.NET Microsoft Stack
- Experience with Azure services such as Function App, Logic Apps, App Service, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Redis
- Experience with microservices and knowledge of software architecture
- Good working understanding of modern Integration patterns and technologies
- Experience in CI/CD Agile DevOps industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
