Viva Foods Limited t/a Dominos Whanganui is looking for new Assistant Managers for their busy company. This is a permanent full-time position and will involve assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.

To be considered for this position you’ll have at least a qualification in relevant studies at a Diploma level or higher or sufficient experience to complete the tasks in this position (at least 3 years). You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Assist the manager in the daily running of the store, on a rostered basis.
- Be punctual and present in the correct Domino’s uniform
- Secondary cash count/control
- Store cleanliness & Organisation.
- Training and development of exceptional of shift supervisors, cooks and other staff
- Lead by example: uphold all Domino’s policies and standards
- Ensure team members comply with policies and standards
- Work in collaboration with the Store Manager & Office Manager to ensure the required stock levels are maintained, ordering is completed appropriately, staffing levels are maintained at correct/sufficient levels to be able to operate the shifts.
- Ensure records, maintenance and Food Standards of machinery/cooking equipment used within the establishment.
- assisting other management in the selection of new staff, when required or requested.
- Ensure staffing levels are sufficient to operate the store effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure Safety of all Team Members including compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety standards etc.
- Sales building activities including box topping/wobble boards/ car tops etc
- Ensure a good team building & team environment

We are looking at a minimum of 30 hours per week for this role.

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

Hours of work: Monday - Sunday between hours of 9:30am 11:30pm on a rostered basis

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
