**Experienced/qualified Bricklayers Wanted**

Location: Auckland

Job type: Full Time (30 - 50 hrs/wk)

Duration: Permanent

Pay range: $28 - $33/hr

**Description**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interpreting and working from plans and specifications
- Measuring and cutting bricks, blocks or stones to the required size using hand and power tools.
- Laying bricks, stones, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures.
- Ensuring quality workmanship in all aspects of bricklaying
- Operating construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with team members supervisors and site managers to complete projects on time
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- At least two years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to work out material quantity requirements for ordering and placing orders.
- Steel fixing experience for block wall construction is preferred.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Good attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
