The Future Starts Here.

Waipareira is on the lookout for an experienced Support Worker to strengthen the frontline and work closely alongside wahine Māori. This fulltime position will deliver wrap-around services in the early motherhood space, helping mums to raise strong and healthy babies (pēpi) up to six-months old. You will build a lasting relationship with the mother to determine any social, healthcare, and wellbeing needs for both herself and her pēpi. This will drive you to liaise with GP's, midwives, and our own Tamariki Ora Services to enable the highest level of support.

Your Skills & Experience.

We consider a broad range of technical skills and lived experiences:
Strong commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.

Prior experience working with wh ānau in the community.

Confidence to engage with wahine Māori and their pēpi.

Background in social work or a whānau ora diploma desired.

NZ Drivers License is essential for local travel.
