Locally owned and operated, Mitre 10 MEGA Kapiti is now seeking an experienced retail leader to become an integral part of the BIGGEST home improvement store on the Kapiti Coast.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Store Manager is directly accountable for the overall leadership and performance of the retail business and has direct reports that form the Senior Management Team.

The main KPI’s are focused around Team engagement, sales & marketing, stock integrity, process implementation, profitable business growth and most importantly, Customer experience.

This hands-on senior leadership role requires someone with:

- Passion for retail and Customer focus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire Team.
- Business acumen and sound analytical aptitude.
- Immense personal drive, energy and motivation.
- Exceptional merchandising and operational standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Practical knowledge of inventory control processes.
- Capability to drive sales and promotional plans.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience working in a large format RETAIL environment.
