**About the role**:
As a part time role, it will require 3 days per week - where as our Security and Technical Operations Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our internal IT, Technical Support, and Operations Team. You'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our technology infrastructure while playing a key role in security incident response. We operate in a hybrid environment, leveraging both Google and Microsoft stacks, as well as Mac systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tier-One Response**:Serve as the first line of defence in incident detection and response. Escalate issues to higher tiers as necessary.
- **Operational Support**: Perform daily checks on internal systems, handle minor issues, and coordinate with the team for routine maintenance.
- **Troubleshooting**:Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the IT infrastructure.
- **Documentation**: Maintain up-to-date documentation on incident reports, operational tasks, and procedures.
- **Communication**:Clearly and promptly communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical staff.
- **Ad-Hoc Duties**:Perform other tasks as directed by the Security and Technical Operations Lead.

**About you**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Relevant Degree is preferred but not essential.
- Industry certifications in a relevant field is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with Google and Microsoft technology stacks.
- Basic understanding of Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
