Dont be fooled by the job title. Yes, youll be doing a fair bit of vacuuming, tyre blacking and washing. These are the things that impress and delight our customers. But youll also do lots of other things around the dealership moving cars around, helping make minor repairs and taking customers on pick-ups and deliveries.
So theres a lot you can learn. Thats why, for someone with a good work ethic and the right attitude, starting as a groomer can set you off down just about any career path at Toyota.
The main thing we need is someone who will turn up, and get to work. You need to be presentable and good at talking to all types of people, because youll see quite a few customers. And you need to be ready to do just about anything, so were looking for someone whos reasonably handy. You dont necessarily need to know a lot about cars, but youll enjoy it more if youre at least interested in them.
