Due to a staff member going on Maternity Leave, a full-time, fixed-term opportunity (15 months) exists to join our HR Team as a Payroll Administrator, located at our Head Office in Palmerston North.

We are looking for someone with Payroll Administration experience, great attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Due to the nature of this position, we need someone who is capable of handling sensitive information and keeping it highly confidential.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Processing monthly payroll for approximately 200 Toyota New Zealand employees- Processing leave requests and managing Holiday pay accrual- Assisting managers and staff with payroll and leave queries- Preparing month end journals- HR Administration including preparation of employment agreements, sending new employees’ welcome information and keeping staff details up to date across our systems- Travel related administration, including assisting TNZ staff with booking travel through an online portal- Various Reporting (Payroll, Staff Details, Travel)We pride ourselves on our people so to be successful in the role you will need:

- Experience in financial administration (preferably payroll)- Competence using the MS Suite, with at least intermediate skills in excel- Knowledge of the Holidays Act 2003 and other payroll related legislation (desired)What can we offer?
