**About the Role**:
Join Waipareira as the Kaimahi - Whānau Whakapiripiri and make a real impact in the community You'll connect whānau, whenua, and whakapapa, leveraging your knowledge of community networks and relationship building skills to explore and document whānau ties.

Through this mahi, you will define best practices for whānau journeys and create pathways for safe reconnections. In close partnership with our Community Services Leadership Group, you will uncover training and development opportunities, always championing the aspirations and voices of whānau.

**Skills & Experience**: It is _preferred_ that our Whānau Whakapiripiri showcases:

- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated whakapapa research experience.

It is _essential_ that our Whānau Whakapiripiri showcases:

- Established network of Iwi and professional relationships.
- Experience in social work or clinical environments.
- Strong commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.
- Robust skills in facilitation, planning, and coordination.
- Ability to engage with community and statutory agencies, ensuring safe practice and ethical boundaries.
- Familiarity with the Whānau Ora outcomes framework and community networks in West and Central Tāmaki Makaurau.
