Senior Ai Engineer

This role is suited to someone who is passionate about AI and machine learning and is looking to collaborate with others to deliver innovative solutions. You'll work on projects that drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and make a positive impact on our communities. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's all about empowering our customers and communities through cutting-edge technology.

You'll work with our Data Scientists, and the wider teams to ensure seamless integration of end-to-end solutions. Your technical expertise will help champion the use of new tools and techniques to solve business problems, while ensuring Responsible AI principles are at the forefront of everything we do. The work you'll do will have a direct impact on our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their financial wellbeing.

**Ō pūkenga | About you**

As a naturally curious and proactive Senior AI Engineer, here's what you bring to the team:

- A strong understanding of model lifecycle management and MLOps - you'll use this to design and deploy robust AI/ML models
- Experience with cloud providers like Azure or AWS and their AI/ML services - you'll use this to ensure seamless integration of our solutions
- Proficiency in at least one common AI Engineering or Data Science language, such as Python - you'll use this to develop and deploy AI/ML models
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical solutions to business stakeholders and technical collaborators - you'll work closely with others to deliver innovative solutions
- A growth mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and development - you'll stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels, without relying on hierarchy - you'll work with others to drive business growth and improve customer experiences
- Experience with agile development methodologies - you'll use this to deliver solutions quickly and efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills - you'll use these to overcome technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions
