**About the Role**

The role will suit an operations focussed supervisor who understands the flow of various processes within the factory. This is a hands-on role where you will actively be on the floor, working alongside your team, monitoring the workflow preparation from the beginning of the process through to the finished product and providing leadership and direction. You will do this by proactively supervising and supporting operational staff on your shift to ensure plant performance is always at optimised levels. This is a leadership-based role and you must therefore have demonstrated prior relevant experience within a plant/production environment.

There is the opportunity to work extra/overtime.

**About You**:
You will have:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior production supervisory role
- Good understanding of galvanizing, including preparing the workflow, acid operations, zinc dipping to the finished product end (desirable)
- Ability to lead from the front in a manufacturing environment
- Some continuous improvement/lean manufacturing experience (highly regarded)
- A strong safety outlook
- A clean bill of health as this is a physically demanding job therefore you must be fit with a high level of physical fitness and not shy away from heavy general labour
