Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Service and Multi-Disciplinary Meeting (MDM) Coordinator, part of the Female Pelvic Mesh Service, is a busy and largely autonomous role that focuses on coordination of all aspects of the team's processes to ensure that the day-to-day running of the service is smooth, and the regional and national Multi-Disciplinary Meetings are effective, efficient, and progressed and reported accurately.

- Supporting the team through coordination of a warm and welcoming, effective, and efficient environment for consumers to attend and colleagues to work in
- Providing support and guidance to Admin and Navigator post holders to grow and develop in their role
- Organising Service meetings, agendas, taking minutes and collating feedback and supporting surgeon diary management.
- Coordinating all clinical, administration and technical requirements for regional and national Multi-Disciplinary Meetings, including frequent collaborative work with Chair and clinicians, outcome reporting and follow up work with other service providers.
- Liaising with a diverse range of internal and external clinicians and service suppliers to ensure the Team have the equipment, supplies and working technology to carry out their roles
- Receiving and supporting the management and response to compliments, complaints and compiling data for reporting
- Collating financial reports and maintenance of financial systems e.g., ordering, invoicing management
- Setting up and coordinating information and data for reports, and collating and ensuring their timely delivery
- Providing booking and scheduling for outpatient, procedure, and in-patient stay to support the team administrator and clinicians

Competing priorities are inherent in this role, therefore it is essential you have the flexibility and demeanor to prioritise and reprioritise your workload to suit the dynamic needs of the service.

We are seeking a highly motivated, efficient, and enthusiastic person to join the Female Pelvic Mesh Service teams in each site.
To be successful in this role you will need to be professional, have a strong health administration background with excellent communication skills that demonstrate caring and empathy, can multi-task and possess exceptional organisation skills. Possessing an insight into the lived experience of consumers who have experienced harm, pain and suffering from mesh implantation and removal is important.

**You will have**:

- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
- Qualifications NCEA Level 2 (6th form cert/university entrance) - literacy and numeracy (essential), computing/information management (desirable) or relevant work experience
- Previous experience of coordinating services and delving administration support with a broad and diverse team (essential), in a health setting (highly desirable)
- Experience working in a complex and challenging environment with demonstrated abilities to understand the consumer journey and communicate with empathy and compassion
- Proven experience at managing large volumes of sensitive clinical and administrative information, and maintain strict consumer and service confidentiality
