We are looking for a student, preferably a native Japanese speaker to pick our child up from kindergarten in Ponsonby every Thursday and Friday at 3.30pm and take him home (about a 15 minute walk), or to the park, library etc, looking after him until we return at 5.30.
Zen is four years old, a friendly, outgoing child who was born in Japan, but came to New Zealand when he was two. We would like him to have the chance to speak Japanese and have fun after kindy.
You will need to enjoy spending time with young children.
The position is available from next week - 10 March and finishes when Zen starts school in mid-August.
