**About **the opportunity**

We are looking for a full time Storeperson to join our Distribution Centre team based in Hornby, Christchurch. The hours of work at 8.00am to 5.00pm on a rotating roster over the 7 days, so you will have some weekend work from time to time, so flexibility to work a variety of days is essential.

Your main duties will be to receive, process, pick and dispatch fresh produce. You will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of a supportive team. There will be exciting opportunities for you to learn, develop and upgrade your skills.

- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and to be part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- A willingness to listen and learn
- Awareness of Health & Safety and safe practice
- You will need to be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic
- Stores and warehousing experience would be ideal but full training will be provided
- Available to work full time on a rotating roster that covers Monday through to Sunday, so some weekend availability is essential.
- An OSH Certified forklift Licence would be a bonus
- A reasonable level of physical fitness - you could be on your feet for most of your shift and lifting crates of produce
