**Are you Hamilton City Council’s next Senior Cybersecurity Engineer?**

As part of the wider Business Services function the Cyber and Risk team are responsible for managing Cybersecurity for the Council.

The team are now seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join them. Reporting to the Head of Cyber and Risk you will be responsible for reducing the Cyber Risk and keeping the Council Cyber Safe.

**What does a day in this job look like?**

The days are mixed; you could be helping to refine the Cybersecurity Strategy and Roadmap, taking responsibility for preparing auditing information, managing security investigations and incidents, delivering cyber security awareness training or dealing with the wider organisation on a range of security related issues.

**For this role you must have**:
A minimum of 5 years’ security related technical experience
- Significant I.T. experience (10+ yrs)
- Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- A security related qualification/certificate

**What’s the salary?**
The salary is circa $125,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience.
