Dairyland Foods Limited is a reputable company with over 8 years of operations in the North Island. We have busy work environments and our business is continuously growing. We are seeking to employ a delivery driver to accommodate our rising distribution demands.

We are offering a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week. You must be flexible with hours as some delivery days may vary depending on schedule, load, traffic, etc. A maximum of 60 hours per week is available. Minimum pay rate is $30 / hour, but this may be negotiable based on your experience. We are Waikato based company.

As a delivery driver you will be required to do the following tasks:

- Driving and operating two types of trucks (Class 1 and Class 4).
- Loading and unloading stock to relevant clients.
- Determining the destinations of goods and most appropriate delivery routes.
- Providing all the required paperwork for deliveries and Pick-ups, including (but not limited to) logbooks, delivery documents, etc.
- Moving the vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
- Assisting with loading to ensure goods are arranged for ease of delivery and safely secured to avoid damage.
- Reporting vehicle maintenance needs.
- Restraining your load according to the NZ law.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, and reporting any incidents to the Managing Director.
- Training new staff and monitoring their performance if required.
- Transporting companys vehicle if required.
- Wash the truck on proposed days.
- Report to the director of any issues.
- Assist with maintaining a clean work environment to match our requirements.
- Demonstrate a commitment to understanding the policies and procedures you have been taught.
- Ensure personal hygiene is maintained to a high standard.
- Be an active member of the team, by working well with others and developing a high performing team that is fun to be a part of.
- Ensure all brand values of Dairyland Foods Ltd are maintained, and brand reputation is upheld at all times.

You are required to have at least 6 months of truck driving experience with an appropriate license.
