**Orchard Manager Required for Busy Horticulture Company.**

NZ07 Horticulture Limited are looking for a qualified Orchard Manager for their Kiwifruit Orchards that are based in the Bay of Plenty region. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of handling the operations of the contracted orchards in theirhorticulture business.

To be considered for this position youll ideally have at least 6 months relevant experience as either a Horticulture/Agriculture manager or have held a mangement poisiton in another workplace setting. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will be also expected to perform management tasks such as:

- Making sure that all compliance relating to Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations are maintained and training material is available/recorded when c
- communicating with farmers and growers
- Ensuring all work complies with all current/relevant government legislation, policy and procedures
- Visiting worksite within the area to ensure the standard of work complies with both the employers and growers expectations.
- keep accurate records relating to all onsite activities in accordance with the relative legislation and industry requirements (including employee hours of work etc)
- Meetings with the director and other managers from time to time to collaborate on ideas to set plans in motion for the expansion of the business in general.

You will be responsible for our business operations with other management staff reporting to and supporting you.

- Sound Understanding of both written and spoken English

Our worksites are based in and around the Bay of Plenty region and as the role will require some travel, the successful applicant will have their own transport.

This is a full time Permanent position with a minimum of 30hours per week and successful applicant will be required to manage the operations of our contracted orchards. Pay rate starts at $29.66 per hour.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
