Epsom South Kindergarten, a dedicated Enviroschool, is seeking a dynamic Head Kaiako to lead our team of passionate educators. Our beautiful, spacious environment fosters curiosity, creativity, and a deep connection with nature.
- ** Lead with Vision**:Inspire and empower our team to deliver exceptional early childhood education aligned with Te Whāriki.
- ** Nurture Young Minds**:Foster a play-based learning environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and imagination.

- ** Proven Experience**:5+ years' experience in ECE with a current full practicing certificate and first aid.

- ** Strong Communicator**:Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with whānau, staff, and the community.
- ** Strategic Thinker**:Ability to develop and implement effective plans and strategies.

- ** Bicultural Competency**:Understanding and appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori culture.
- ** Environmental Champion**:Passion for sustainability and a commitment to environmental education.
- ** Demonstrated Pedagogical Leadership**:Experience in leading and mentoring teams, and a focus on continuous improvement.
- ** Operational Expertise**:Understanding of early childhood regulations and compliance requirements, including internal evaluation.
