Here is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager to operate out of their brand-new showroom in Mangere.

With a focus on the training and development of a young and dynamic team, while also working to improve sales and operational efficiency, this is a role where you can really take ownership and make it your own

**About the role**:

- Working with the Showroom Manager to set targets and to ensure that overall sales, gross profit and targets are reached
- Assisting with the support and leadership of your team in areas including training and development, compliance and performance, and store presentation
- Customer service and face-to-face sales
- Managing on-site returns and repairs
- Liaising with product suppliers
- Assisting with team feedback and performance reviews

**About you**:

- You are an experienced Assistant Manager within the retail/sales space
- You are a customer service expert, skilled in understanding customer needs and making recommendations on appropriate solutions
- You have the confidence to make decisions and aren't afraid to have those tough conversations to improve team performance and KPIs
- You have excellent communication skills and can relate to people at all levels
- Above all, you are a natural born leader who enjoys influencing positive outcomes
- You must be available to work a Saturday shift every weekend
