We are looking for several motivated Auto Mechanics to join our team.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $27.76-$30 depending on your experience and skill level. You will be working in Auckland. This role will be a permanent, full time position and will be guaranteed 40 hours of work per week from Monday to Saturday but can be up to 55 hours weekly.

Paid weekly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave. Opportunities to upskill.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components and checking parts
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
- Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Diagnosing and testing parts with assistance of computers
- At least three years relevant work experience
- Motivated, good work attitude and good communication skills
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Physically fit and able to handle the heavy workload
- Quality workmanship and eye for detail
- Commitment to health and workplace safety
- Strong ability to work independently
- Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required
