The position is central to the Community Oral Health service (COHS) strategy to improve the oral health of the children of the Nelson /Tasman region by:
- Promoting optimal oral health practices.
- Providing a flexible education programme.
- Working with whānau/families and support agencies to increase the engagement of Māori and other vulnerable persons in oral health care.
- Improving partnerships and service integration across Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough. The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $68,371 to $83,030 dependent on skills, experience, and where applicable registration in NZ.

- Preferably hold a tertiary qualification in health, education or social sciences and have experience in a health promotion, or similar role.
