**The purpose of the role**

The Retail Consumer Travel and Transport Sales Manager is a senior sales leader within our Enterprise Operating Unit organisation, developing and managing a team of high calibre Account Executives and Account Technology Strategists to help our largest customers achieve their mission and transform leveraging technology and to drive value from Microsoft and our Partner solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspires and develops people, builds high performing teams and attracts top talent.
- Sales management and people leadership experience in relevant enterprise and customer settings
- Is an influencer and thought leader with business and technical customers, effectively building trust and enduring relationships
- Translate Microsoft technology breadth into business and mission impact, enabling acceleration of the customers’ AI and Digital transformation agenda
- Have a broad understanding of technology trends, market forces and industry imperatives.
- Interpret industry signals to make critical decisions in how the team drives growth and navigates both headwinds and opportunities for the industries we serve.
- Deep and impactful engagement with other business Groups such as CSU (Customer Success Unit), Specialist Technology Unit and Industry Solutions Division, and Worldwide Microsoft Product Groups and Industry Solution Teams to create a unified and holistic sales approach and bring the ‘best of the best’ to Microsoft’s customers.
- Build strong connections with priority partners to create a meaningful extension of the team’s sales and technical reach.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Experience**
- 5+ years experience in a sales leadership role within a corporate or enterprise business
- 7+ years sales experience within technology services or technology products, or alternatively within consulting services.

**Preferred Experience**
- Previous sales experience across retail, travel or transport industries regarded highly
