The Waypoint Bar Limited looking for Bar Attendants, who are smart, considerate and passionate about delivering a fun and unique food and beverage offering We're after fast-thinking, customer focused problem solvers that take pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. **No of positions**: 2 **Pay**: $23 an hour **No of working hours**: 30 hours a week **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Assist with the services of our many outlets, throughout breakfast, lunch, conferencing, or dinner as well as the rooftop bar Bar Albert. - Acknowledge our regular and loyalty members, being familiar with their benefits. - preparing, serving and selling cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based beverages - cleaning and maintaining bar service areas, coffee-making areas and espresso machines - collecting payment for sales and operating cash registers - promoting services and products - washing glassware and arranging bottles and glasses - tapping kegs and attaching supply lines - replenishing drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators - selling light snacks - selecting and grinding coffee - Balancing of Pokey machines - Relieving sales assistants as and when required. **What You'll bring** **Ideally, you will have previous Food and Beverage/Bar Attendant experience** **You've got a good eye for detail - our processes are super important in helping us deliver a consistent guest experience.** **Being passionate about food and how it is presented you'll also prepare and operate the restaurant/bar for our daily breakfast offering, Conference and Events and/or evening drinks and dinner service.** **Professional and personable, with a "role up the sleeves", can do attitude** **You make calm, collected decisions - even when the clock is ticking** **You must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in New Zealand.** **Salary**: $23.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Afternoon shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Shift work - Weekend availability
