Residential Administrator

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join the on-site administration team at Te Maioha o Parekarangi Youth Justice Residence, Rotorua.

Te Maioha o Parekarangi Youth Justice Residence, just outside Rotorua, is only 10 minutes from the city centre. Our Residence is supported by the Parekarangi Trust and we are based on their farmland with a rural outlook. We care for up to 30 young men aged 13 to 17 years who are involved with the Youth Justice system.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
You will require proven experience in office administration and customer service. A high level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, strong relationship building skills and experience dealing with people from all walks of life. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, effective organisation, planning and time management skills, ability to work well as part of a team, use your initiative and maintain a sense of humour in a busy environment.

**You will need**:

- a clean current full driver licence.
- to meet the Vulnerable Children's Act safety checking and Police Vetting requirements.
- a valid work Visa, NZ Residency or Citizenship.
- knowledge of Tikanga and Te Reo would be an advantage.
