**About the role**:
Our Food Retail Services division provides our customers, primarily supermarkets, with cleaner, safer, and healthier environments. Our products and services touch people’s lives daily, ensuring they are exposed to sanitary environments that protect their health and wellbeing.
Ideally based out of the Auckland/Northland area and reporting to the Area Manager, your key objectives will be to provide the highest standard of service excellence to Food Retail clients in the Northland region where you are to retain and grow the business to achieve the assigned sales goals to your territory.
Critical to the role will be your ability travel including being away for up to 7 nights per month
**You will be responsible for**:
- Providing a specialist service with a view to resolving our customers’ sanitisation needs
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers
- Managing the sales budget through complete and effective territory management
- Conducting training sessions to ensure our customers are using our sanitising solutions and equipment effectively and safely.
- Conduct food safety, brand standards and other on-site evaluations
- Providing a high level of customer service through regular call cycles
- Selling add-on solutions for our customers.
- Assisting with growing the business by identifying new opportunities for our customers
- Servicing equipment and conducting some basic repairs/maintenance if required.
**To be successful in this role, you will ideally have**:
- Experience within the Food Retail sector with a strong understanding of food safety and compliance
- The drive, tenacity, and enthusiasm to succeed and provide solutions that add genuine value
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- A hands-on approach in providing service to your customers
- Some mechanical aptitude
- A track record in meeting targets
