**YOUR ROLE**

As a Product Manager you will provide expertise and specialist knowledge in the delivery and execution of product and portfolio initiatives across IAG NZ channels. This is to assist the facilitation of key strategic projects to enable growth and profitability and ensure adherence to and management of the Group Product Policy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Play a lead product SME role in the delivery of specific product development projects, reviews and activities as required as part of the overall product programme of work. Identify and make recommendations on trends identified from activity to assist the maintenance, enhancement and development of IAG products, ensuring a customer centric focus is maintained at all times.
- Ensure that all product activities, projects and initiatives are aligned to the Group Product Policy. Ensure that product initiatives, governance and operational processes across portfolios are shared and aligned, and that full documentation and sign-off of changes/ new products is completed and stored.
- Support and contribute towards the development and execution of portfolio, channel and brand strategies, ensuring that appropriate market research, product comparisons and reporting is available as an input into product management activities or strategy development.
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships across portfolios, channels and brands to ensure awareness of business and customer needs, strategic direction and priorities.

**ABOUT YOU**

Your strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical nature and eye for detail combined with your ability to see the big picture will be ideal for your success in this position. You will be in your element reviewing, analysing and comparing products, and developing policy documents and other technical content. You will be an expert at managing projects, juggling multiple tasks, communicating across different levels and building great working relationships with stakeholders across the business.

You will bring extensive technical understanding of insurance products under Commercial Property, Liability, Commercial Motor, Commercial Marine or Construction and Engineering Portfolios and have at least 5 years' experience in a product management role or equivalent.
