**Formwork Carpenters Wanted** This is an excellent opportunity to work for an experienced and well-established Auckland based construction company. We are looking for 1 full-time (minimum 30 hours per week, working from Monday to Friday) Formwork Carpenters to join our team on a Permanent basis. The location of work will be within the Auckland Region. **Formwork Carpenters are required to**: - Read and understand specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans - Prepare project work procedure and determine dimensions and materials required - Plan the order and selection of timbers and other materials, and prepare layouts - Shape and cut materials to specified measurements, using hand or power tools - Assemble and nail prepared parts to form framework or structures or foundation for constructing buildings - Construct building frames and install cladding on the inside and outside of buildings - Remove and repair existing fittings, conduct renovation and maintenance service for the wood structures - Complete concrete formwork when required - To able to work with steel and metal materials when required **To be successful you will need to**: - Have at least 6 months solid relevant experience, or at least a relevant level 4 qualification or above, can be equivalent overseas qualification - Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions - Be physically fit and willingness to work hard - Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively - have "can-do" attitude We offer a competitive salary of $29.66 to 32.00 per hour depending on your personal attributes and experiences.
