Senior Ict Engineer

Our Auckland Building team includes engineers in the primary disciplines of Building Services, Building Sciences, Sustainability, Structural and Façade engineering. The team delivers projects regionally and contributes to the Group’s growth in the ANZ region.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior ICT Engineer to join our Buildings Services team in the Auckland CBD. In this role you will find opportunities for strong career progression by contributing to boutique and large scale local and international projects.
As the newest member of our team, you will have experience in a similar role and will be given a degree of autonomy and responsibility that suits a self-starting and self-reliant person who can handle the responsibility of delivering ICT design and supporting multi-discipline building and commercial projects.
What you will do:

- Design and Development of Structured Cabling System
- Leading the development of the design, performance specification and functional descriptions
- Complex design calculations using computational and network design software for LAN, WAN, WLAN, Unified Communications and Security Systems
- Use MS Visio, PowerPoint, Revit, BIM 360, Adobe, VR and other equivalent mark-up/engineering tools for drawing production
- Liaising with clients and end users to establish project requirements
- Monitoring and overseeing installations, testing, commissioning on site
- Developing factory acceptance testing, or site testing procedures aligned with the requirements to various projects.
- You will be a qualified Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineer or equivalent who is experienced in the design and specification of Information technology systems and services within buildings. This role ideally suits someone with 8+ years’ experience and looking to join a growing team that hold technical excellence to high regard and offer an excellent opportunity for career progression.
To be the right person for the role, you will have:

- Degree in Engineering
- Current and proven experience as Telecommunication Engineer with design experience within Transportation, Utilities, Commercial sectors.
- RCDD certification (must have)
- OSP certification (desirable)
- Knowledge of Industry Standard and regulations
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills is essential.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, a team player and customer focused
- Experience on Electronic Security/Surveillance Technologies - CCTV, Access Control, Analytics
- Knowledge of Audio-Visual, Public-Address Systems and other ELV System
- An Enthusiastic and ambitious attitude
