Gaddum Construction Ltd is a Forestry Roading & Earthworks company working in the Central North Island and East Coast forests.
They are seeking an Office Administrator who will report to and support the Office Manager with the day to day operations of the Company. The position is a full time role with working hours from 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required, particularly during busy periods.
You will be responsible for:
- Accounts Payable/ Receivable
- Processing wages
- Database management and data entry
- Health and Safety and HR Administration
- Permits for forestry access & heavy haulage transportation
- Manage RUC purchasing and refunds
- Day to day office requirements
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an Office Administration role
- There is a high data entry component to this position so an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy is imperative
- Experience in Xero Accounting software and MYOB Payroll would be advantageous
- Experience in Microsoft Office software (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Understanding of Health and Safety in the work place would also be an advantage
- Ability to handle multiple companies administration
- Effective communication and organisational skills
- Time management skills
- Be honest, respectful and trustworthy
- Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
- The ability to work in a male dominant environment is a must
